Prior to 1995 Govt W ITI Kalamassery was functioning adjoined to the general ITI Kalamassery At that time training was given in E Mech Steno English and DPCS trades It was in 1995 the institute was shifted to the own building nearby ITI Kalamassery The total building area having 430 sq m is situated in 1 24 acre of land ITI is situated just 1Km away from NH47 The foundation stone of new building was laid on 19th May 1990 by Sri V Viswanatha Menon the honourable Minister of Kerala The construction of the building was completed by 1995 and the new building was inaugurated by Sri Aryadan Muhammed the honourable Labour Minister of Kerala on 18th December 1995
